Honest Review of Coolie Movie

Rudyard Kipling’s “The Jungle Book” is a classic compilation of tales which was originally published in the year 1894. The most popular stories in the book are those about Mowgli, a little boy whose parental figures are wolves, living in the wilderness in India. Briefly here are the highlights of the book's main elements: Plot structure and themes Mainline: The main plot consist of Mowgli's achievements and experiences while growing up in the jungle. Living in a society of animals, particularly the bonds formed with Bagheera, a panther and Baloo, the bear emphasizes issues such as inclusion, socialization, belonging, and wilderness. Areas of Focus: There are areas concerning the order of nature’s laws and civilization, self-seeking, and conflicts between man and nature.   I absolutely loved Coolie! For me, this is a 5-star film all the way. To be honest, it felt more like a Lokesh Kanagaraj movie than a typical Rajini sir mass entertainer, but that was part of the magic. Lokesh’s signature style, the layered screenplay, and all the twists and turns kept me hooked from start to finish. Rajini sir as Deva was nothing short of electrifying. The de-aging was done brilliantly—it looked smooth and believable, and it didn’t take away from his performance at all. Seeing him in those younger, fiery moments was pure nostalgia, but then his natural mass screen presence and charisma in the current-day scenes gave me literal goosebumps. Even at 74, no one can own the screen like him. The music was just top-notch. Anirudh Ravichander carried the soul of the film.
